Trainee Dental Assistant Career Path">

We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our dental team as a Trainee Dental Assistant.

This comprehensive traineeship program provides an excellent opportunity to kickstart your journey in the world of dental healthcare while making a positive impact on our community.

  • The program spans 12 months, during which you will receive hands-on training and valuable industry insights.
  • You will work closely with Dentists, Hygienists and experienced Dental Assistants, gaining skills in instrument sterilization, maintaining a clean and healthy clinical environment and preparing rooms for treatment.

Alongside practical training, you will attend informative classroom sessions to expand your theoretical knowledge of dental healthcare. This is provided through TAFE. Course fees are fully covered by us.

Upon successful completion of the program, you will be awarded a recognized certification, enhancing your employability in the dental field.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to quickly build rapport with patients
  • Highly developed skills in time management, attention to detail and prioritization
  • A desire to learn and passion in the healthcare industry
  • Ability to work in a structured and team environment
  • Ability to complete the requirements of Cert III in Dental Assisting
