We are seeking an experienced IT professional to join our team as a Technical Operations Coordinator. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional technical support to our staff, working closely with our teams to identify and resolve technical issues, implement new systems and technologies, and maintain the security and integrity of our IT environment.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in IT helpdesk support, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills. They will also have a solid understanding of Linux (Ubuntu) desktop operating systems and Windows 10/11, as well as experience with Command Line Interface (CLI) management and Microsoft Active Directory user administration.

In addition to providing technical support, the Technical Operations Coordinator will also be responsible for administering our IT service management system, ensuring timely response and escalation of incidents, and supporting the deployment of new systems and managing IT projects as required.

Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support to staff via various channels, including email, phone, and remote assistance
  • Administer IT service management system, ensuring timely response and escalation of incidents
  • Install and configure IT hardware, software, and user accounts for new starters
  • Support deployment of new systems and manage/support IT projects
  • Contribute to development and maintenance of IT documentation and policies
Skills and Qualifications
  • Tertiary qualification in IT or equivalent industry certifications
  • Experience in IT helpdesk support
  • Strong understanding of Linux (Ubuntu) desktop operating systems and Windows 10/11
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Knowledge of CLI management and Microsoft Active Directory user administration
