About the Role

The Product Development Draftsperson will play a crucial role in supporting the evolution of award-winning home designs.

As a key member of the Product Development team, you will be responsible for accurately modeling new house designs and producing detailed documentation for internal departments.

  • Model new house designs in ArchiCAD.
  • Produce detailed documentation for use by internal departments.
  • Employ critical analysis to improve design and documentation quality.
  • Liaise with designers to ensure effective and efficient product development.
  • Maintain existing library of ArchiCAD modules and master plans.
  • Maintain knowledge of relevant building codes for Australian Standards and NCC compliance.
Your Key Responsibilities

This is a dynamic role that requires strong skills in construction processes, downstream impacts of design modifications, and collaboration within a team environment.

  • Possess minimum educational qualification in Diploma of Building Design or equivalent.
  • Hold strong knowledge of construction processes and downstream impacts of design modifications.
  • Hold minimum 2 years' Architectural Drafting experience within residential home design sector.
  • Able to work collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Effective time management skills and ability to work under pressure.
