About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate individual to join our Catering team at St Catherine's, Bathurst. As a Catering Team Member, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality food and exceptional dining services to our residents, ensuring a high standard of living.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals to residents, ensuring a safe and enjoyable dining experience.
- Assist with meal preparation, including food handling, cooking, and presentation.
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to resident needs and concerns.
- Work collaboratively with the catering team to maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
- Support the development of menus and meal plans that cater to diverse dietary needs and preferences.
Requirements:
- Certificate III in Hospitality (Commercial Cookery) or equivalent experience.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, colleagues, and management.
- Ability to maintain a safe and hygienic kitchen environment, adhering to food safety standards.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
- NDIS and Police check clearance or willingness to obtain.
