Zenviron, a joint venture between Monadelphous and ZEM Energy, is seeking an experienced Senior HSE Advisor to support the delivery of a large-scale Battery Storage Energy System (BESS) project located near Morwell VIC.
About the Role:We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Senior HSE Advisor to join our team. As a key member of our HSE team, you will be responsible for supporting and coaching project personnel to successfully execute major construction projects in a challenging landscape.
Key Responsibilities:- Support and coach project personnel to ensure compliance with HSE legislation and industry standards.
- Establish strong management system frameworks with major delivery subcontractors.
- Monitor subcontractor activities to ensure project safety, environment, and technical specifications are adhered to.
- Coordinate Principal Contractor safety obligations onsite and identify any non-compliances.
- Ensure consistent and high-quality project documentation, including management plans, SWMS, risk registers, investigations, etc.
- Lead and coordinate the delivery of HSE advice and services to the project, building effective partnerships with both client and subcontractor HSE teams.
- Report to the delivery and corporate teams to ensure effective functionality and support to operations, including behavioural safety and culture improvement campaigns.
We provide a competitive remuneration package, including:
- Australian recognised tertiary qualifications in Occupational Health & Safety.
- Environmental qualifications (highly regarded).
- 5+ years' experience in similar HSE site-based roles within the renewables/infrastructure or construction sector, ideally coordinating subcontractors.
- Well-established knowledge of HSE legislation and industry standards with an in-depth knowledge of Principal Contractor duties.
- Formal training in incident investigation methodology (e.g. ICAM, Taproot).
- Intermediate user of MS Office Suite to accurately assemble, maintain, and document quality records and accurate reports.
- Demonstrated proactive attitude toward HSE and procedural compliance.
- Well-developed written communication skills.
- Well-versed in modern behavioural safety and culture-based programs.
- Proof of right to work in Australia.
