We are currently seeking a skilled Field Technician to perform field and laboratory tasks as part of our coal seam gas assessments team.

About the Role
  • Key responsibilities include conducting core and cuttings sampling, gas desorption analysis, collecting gas composition samples, performing general equipment testing, calibration, and maintenance, and adhering to confidentiality requirements regarding all projects and operations.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, ability to follow procedures, and maintain data integrity. They must also be mechanically minded with problem-solving skills, have excellent communication and teamwork abilities, and demonstrate a commitment to safety and operational protocols.

Requirements
  • Ability to work in challenging field conditions and adapt to varying climates and remote locations.
  • Capacity to work extended 12–14 hour shifts (day/night), including weekends and public holidays as required.
  • Previous experience in coal seam gas or similar field work is advantageous but not essential.
