About the RoleThis role is a unique opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of Victorians. As Deputy Secretary, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of high-performing staff, working closely with Executive Directors and Directors to achieve our department's goals.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing and supporting Executive Directors and Directors
- Leading a team of high-performing staff
- Delivering media, communications, policy, programs, grants management, and reporting requirements
- Providing strategic, evidence-based advice and recommendations to the department's leadership team
You will be required to navigate complex, fast-moving situations and make informed decisions in a dynamic and ever-changing environment.
