We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Medical Professional to join our team as a General Practitioner.

Job Overview:

This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced General Practitioner to provide primary medical care to patients in accordance with professional standards, legislation, and Defence Policies and Procedures.

Main Responsibilities:
  • To deliver high-quality primary medical care to patients, ensuring their health and wellbeing are maintained at the highest level.
  • To form part of a multidisciplinary team working towards achieving and maintaining the health and wellbeing of Defence members.
  • To assess Defence personnel for fitness for duty and provide care that supports their health and wellbeing pre and post deployments.
  • To provide medical technical advice to senior officers and commanders.
  • To work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team to support the delivery of the highest standard of care to patients.
Key Requirements:
  • CURRENT UNCONDITIONAL AND UNRESTRICTED REGISTRATION AS A MEDICAL PRACTITIONER IN AUSTRALIA.
  • Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) or Fellowship of the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (FACRRM).
  • A minimum of 2 years full-time post-graduate general practitioner experience.
  • Recent participation in Continuous Professional Development (CPD) activities.
  • Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (HLTAID009) certification.
Additional Information:

This role requires an Australian Citizen due to the need for Baseline Security Clearance.
