Equipment Maintenance Specialist

Maintenance of equipment and machinery is a vital aspect of our operations.
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team in Melbourne's Outer South East.
Key Responsibilities:- Ensure the optimal performance of existing plant facilities and equipment
- Conduct routine maintenance activities, breakdown work and problem analysis
- Maximise operational efficiency by minimising downtime across all lines
- Perform replacement and adjustments to plant facilities where necessary
- Develop and maintain knowledge and understanding of plant and equipment such as change out gearboxes, hydraulics, heat exchanges, electrical wiring, basic MIG welding of brackets and shields, lath work, changing bearings and damaged rollers, set up pulleys on electric motors and change out belts
You will work independently as well as part of a team. To be successful, you will have:
- Qualification as mechanical fitter or electrician with mechanical experience
- Highly skilled all-round maintenance professional not qualified but have extensive proven experience
Affiliation with our business culture, collaboration with other technicians and operators is expected. Availability for rotating roster and call outs on a Saturday is required.
