Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage a team of housekeeping staff to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
- Conduct regular inspections of public areas and rooms to identify areas for improvement.
- Maintain accurate records of lost property and ensure that all items are returned to their rightful owners.
- Liaise with other departments to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of the housekeeping team.
- Monitor and maintain the quality of cleaning supplies and laundry services.
- Ensure that all housekeeping staff are rostered effectively and that the team is adequately resourced to meet the needs of our guests.
- Previous experience in a similar role within a busy hotel or resort is essential.
- High level of attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse range of staff and guests.
- Proven track record in people management and development.
- Immunization for Hepatitis A&B is recommended.
- Ability to work on any day, including weekends and school holidays.
