Midwife Opportunity
Job DescriptionAs a midwife, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to women and their families. This includes prenatal, labor and postpartum care in various settings such as birthing suites, antenatal and postnatal wards, home visits and clinics.
You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide woman-centered care that is based on evidence and best practice. You will have the opportunity to develop your skills and experience through education and training opportunities provided by the organization.
This role offers a dynamic and supportive environment where you can grow and develop your capabilities. You will have access to paid education and training, and the opportunity to participate in research projects.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Current registration as a midwife
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Autonomy to increase clinical skills and knowledge
- Opportunity to achieve water birth competency
- Flexible rostering and paid education/training opportunities
- Support for preceptorship and mentorship
- Ability to work across scope of practice
