Job Title: Road Freight DriverKey Responsibilities:

The primary objective of this role is to transport dangerous goods from a designated depot to various regional sites across the Bowen Basin.

This involves navigating through diverse terrain and operating road trains in accordance with established safety protocols. As an integral member of our logistics team, you will be expected to adhere to industry standards and regulations, prioritizing safe transportation and efficient delivery.

To excel in this position, you must possess a current Unrestricted MC Licence and Dangerous Goods Licence or have the ability to obtain one within a specified timeframe. Prior experience in operating road trains is highly desirable, along with a solid understanding of load restraint guidelines.

  • Transportation of hazardous materials

  • Maintenance of vehicle records and logs
Requirements:

Applicants for this role must demonstrate strong navigation skills, excellent time management, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

A background in the transport industry would be advantageous, as well as prior experience working with dangerous goods. However, on-the-job training will be provided to ensure your success in this role.
