We are seeking a skilled Landscape Gardener to join our team at Programmed. This is an excellent opportunity to learn and grow in your career, working on a variety of projects across Australia and New Zealand.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience

Location: Various locations throughout Australia and New Zealand

About the Role:

This role involves working as part of a team to maintain parks and gardens, control plant pests and diseases, and perform various gardening tasks such as mowing, litter collection, planting, and pruning. You will also be responsible for maintaining lawns, trees, shrubs, flower beds, and hard landscaping, as well as troubleshooting irrigation systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain park and park assets
  • Control plant pests, diseases, and disorders
  • Mowing, litter collection, planting, herbicide/chemical application, weeding, mulching, pruning
  • Tree maintenance and minor structure repair
  • Plant and maintain lawns, trees, shrubs, flower/plant beds, and maintain hard landscaping
  • Troubleshoot irrigation systems

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a genuine interest in gardening/horticulture, hold a driver's license, and be willing to learn and take instruction. You should also be physically fit and committed to safety.
