About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Planned Maintenance Officer to join our Engineering - Asset Management department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the health and safety of our employees and the effective maintenance of our equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement planned maintenance schedules to ensure optimal equipment availability
- Conduct root cause analyses and define remedial actions to improve maintenance efficiency
- Monitor equipment failure trends and advise on maintenance strategies
- Collaborate with the maintenance-engineering department to optimize resource allocation
Requirements:
- Grade 12 or equivalent
- Appropriate trade certificate
- At least 5 years' experience as an artisan and 3 years' experience in engineering maintenance planning
- Advanced SAP Planned Maintenance or related maintenance management systems capability
- Certified in maintenance management, advanced maintenance planning, RCA's, RCM's, and/or maintenance planning
