Job Title: Catering Assistant

We are seeking a reliable and efficient Catering Assistant to join our team in Red Hill. As a Catering Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting with food preparation, customer service, and maintaining high standards of food hygiene and safety practices.

About the Role:

  • Assist with food preparation, serving meals and snacks, and re-stocking as required
  • Provide excellent customer service to residents and staff
  • Maintain high standards of food hygiene and safety practices
  • Participate in dishwashing and cleaning kitchen & dining areas
  • Prepare and present texture modified foods

Requirements:

  • Experience in kitchens, food preparation and/or customer service is highly regarded
  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
  • Pride in personal appearance and hygiene
  • Previous experience in aged care is preferred but not essential
