We are seeking a highly motivated and outcomes-focused Logistics Officer to join our dynamic team at Joint Health Unit - South Queensland (JHU-SQ).
The successful candidate will be responsible for performing moderately complex logistics inventory management work within an integrated workforce, with a focus on supporting the Australian Defence Force (ADF).
Key Responsibilities- Establish and implement priorities and procedures for logistics inventory management;
- Manage and prioritize workflow to achieve moderately complex tasks;
- Provide supervision and on-the-job training to team members;
- Liaise with stakeholders to meet Defence goals and objectives;
- Adhere to relevant Defence policies and legislative frameworks.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Excellent communication skills;
- Keen attention to detail;
- Ability to work autonomously and adapt to changing work priorities;
- Experience in Inventory Management Systems, including SAP based systems or MILIS;
- Experience in Defence Logistics or Civilian equivalence;
- Adherence to Defence Values and Behaviours.
Joint Health Command (JHC) is responsible for delivering healthcare services to over 70,000 ADF personnel. Our team is an integrated, multi-disciplinary workforce that works together to manage around one million patient health service interactions with Defence members each year.
