About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Information Architect to lead the development of a content architecture for our client, a large Federal Government department. The successful candidate will have a strong background in information architecture, service design, and digital publishing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development of a content architecture, including a data/information dictionary, for GovCMS based existing website content from multiple content producers.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to develop approaches for re-use of content, including for content syndication and omni-channel requirements.
  • Design and develop content lifecycle governance, including the definition of roles.
  • Assist with content-related engagement with potential producers and consumers of government website content.
  • Facilitate team collaboration and communication.
Selection Criteria
  • Applying information architecture, service design, digital publishing or data modelling within an enterprise context.
  • Exposure to modern Content Management Systems, preferably the Open Source Drupal used by GovCMS.
  • Demonstrated experience in preparing design documentation.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with minimal direction, while maintaining high productivity.
  • Experience of Agile methodology.
