Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Transport Scheduler to support our busy Hazelmere transport operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring coordination and scheduling of all freight, fleet, and operators in our Perth Metro Pick Up and Delivery operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee scheduling and fleet utilization to maximize profitability
  • Coordinate rosters, load plans, and other operational issues on a day-to-day basis
  • Monitor staff KPIs, including delivery window targets
  • Data entry into SAP, including payroll, billing, and data processing
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with customers and key stakeholders
  • Responsible for managing site WH&S policies and procedures, including injury management and reporting, safety and training compliance registers, and fatigue management

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a similar role within a transport operations environment
  • A strong understanding of fatigue management, load restraint, and mass management
  • Detailed knowledge of transportation and warehousing and/or receipting functions
  • Strong work ethic with a passion for industry and commitment to continuous improvement
  • Experience using Excel and SAP will be highly regarded
  • Ability to adapt to changing demands and pressures
