Marketing Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Marketing Manager to join our team on a fixed-term basis. As a key member of our Marketing team, you will be responsible for leading the planning, development, and implementation of category short, long, and always-on communication strategies to drive commercial category performance.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain strategic relationships with suppliers to secure funding for marketing campaigns and initiatives, resulting in sales growth.
- Analyze supplier funding proposals from media agencies and align them with our marketing strategies and financial objectives.
- Coordinate the end-to-end process of supplier funding requests, from initial proposals to final approvals.
- Collaborate closely with wider marketing teams to ensure funding supports planned campaigns effectively and efficiently.
- Leverage customer insights, data, and business objectives to develop short and long-term category communication strategies.
- Translate the Category strategy into actionable communications plans and inform what category activity is commercially required into the marketing plan.
- Responsible for alignment of all Brand Communications and Campaigns to Brand vision, strategy, and adherence to brand style guide.
- Develop a clear point of view for both long-term and short-term agile opportunities to drive commercial outcomes.
- 7+ years' marketing and communications experience in retail, FMCG, or major brands.
- Tertiary qualification (Marketing, Media, Communications).
- Sound understanding of retail business.
- Experience in making a commercial impact, measurable and scalable with marketing plans.
- Demonstrated understanding of integrated marketing projects.
- Proven ability to work and deliver projects as part of a cross-functional team resulting in fully integrated campaigns.
- Proven ability to engage stakeholders through the development, execution, and review process of customer communications.
- Proven results working in a complex, fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders and tight timelines.
- Experience in leading a team by providing clear direction, coaching, and guidance.
