Commercial Analyst Opportunity

EBOS Group Limited is seeking a highly skilled Commercial Analyst to join their team on a 12-month contract basis. As a key member of the commercial finance team, you will be responsible for collecting and reconciling merchandise income, providing day-to-day financial advice, and presenting regular reporting to cost centre owners within the Merchandise department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Partner with the merchandise team to understand and deliver on their financials
  • Support, manage, and report on the Merchandise budget and forecasting activity
  • Complete variance analysis on actuals against budgets and forecast, providing commentary and recommending solutions to key stakeholders
  • Review and complete month-end financial requirements for the Merchandise team and reconcile P&Ls
  • Assist with the review of promotional activity to ensure that Sales Orders are raised correctly
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of the retail sector
  • Commercial experience within the pharmacy industry preferred but not essential
  • Experience working within a Commercial Analyst or similar role
  • Ability to apply commercial acumen to your analysis
  • Exceptional organisational and time management skills
  • Self-starter with the ability to grasp tasks and concepts quickly
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to organise and coordinate multiple stakeholders
