About the Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Food Services Assistant to join our Food Services Team at one of our modern facilities. As a Food Services Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our residents receive high-quality food and nutrition services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals to residents
  • Assist with food preparation and presentation
  • Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment
  • Restock supplies and receive goods
  • Record temperatures and complete checklists
  • Maintain personal hygiene standards
  • Work collaboratively with the Food Services Team

Requirements

  • Interest in food, nutrition, and general well-being
  • Ability to work as part of a team in a kitchen environment
  • Person who takes pride in their work
  • Food Safety or Food Handling Certificate highly desirable
  • Valid work permit and current police check
  • Current Influenza and COVID-19 vaccination including booster
