Logistics Coordinator Job Summary:

  • This role plays a vital part in ensuring smooth logistics and supply chain management processes.
  • Key responsibilities include coordinating shipments, managing inventory, optimizing transportation routes, maintaining accurate tracking systems, and resolving logistics challenges quickly and effectively.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for maintaining documentation to record all issues, receipts, transfers, and disposals of property according to approved property accountability procedures.
  • Ensures material and equipment are catalogued to standard nomenclature in automated Integrated Data Management System (IDMS) to enhance tracking, reordering, and excess identification processes.
  • Conducts weekly stock reviews to ensure accuracy of inventory records and that stock items are serviceable.
  • Creates and maintains a Critical Spares Inventory of parts essential to mission activities and stocks items accordingly.

Requirements:

  • Must be a US or Australian citizen.
  • Must possess a US TS/SCI with Polygraph or AUS PV Clearance.
  • Must have a minimum of 5 years of logistics experience on large contract with OCONUS experience.
  • Strong organizational and logistical skills.
  • Knowledge of supply chain processes and related software.
  • Attention to detail is crucial to ensure high-quality service delivery and compliance with safety standards.
  • Adaptability is key to adapt to changing conditions, technologies, and requirements.
  • Strong decision-making skills are necessary to resolve issues quickly and effectively under pressure.

Work Environment:
