Early Childhood Educator Opportunity

We are seeking a qualified and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team in the Dolphin Group. The educator will work collaboratively with a small teaching team and contribute to planning for individual and group learning.

This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to the development of young children, while also being part of a supportive and collaborative work environment.

About Us

Burleigh Heads Community Kindergarten is a community-based organisation that has been operating for 64 years. We were rated Exceeding across all seven quality areas. Our service consists of two groups of children attending during Queensland school terms from 8:45 to 3 pm.

We are a play-based kindergarten inspired by child-led learning approaches and the belief that children are capable, creative and full of potential. We provide a safe, inclusive, inspiring and nurturing environment that supports children in building confidence, identity, and a strong sense of belonging.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the planning and implementation of educational programs for children
  • Work collaboratively with a small teaching team to achieve high-quality outcomes for children
  • Support children's learning and development through observation, assessment and planning
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood) or equivalent qualification
  • Current Working with Children check and Blue Card
  • First Aid/CPR certification
