We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Systemic and Emerging Issues Specialist to join our team at Allianz Australia Services Pty Ltd. As a key member of our General Insurance Claims team, you will play a critical role in identifying and addressing systemic and emerging issues that impact our business.
In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing and investigating claims or complaints related to thematic/systemic and/or emerging issues. You will provide critical analysis and recommendations to prevent reoccurrence, improve controls, and determine root cause. You will also collaborate with Risk & Compliance, Legal, and other business teams to gather data, investigate, and review information requested by regulators.
As a Senior Systemic and Emerging Issues Specialist, you will contribute to the strengthening of governance, risk management, internal controls environment, and the risk culture of AAL. You will provide subject matter expertise, review, and recommendations for business processes and protocol uplifts, including providing meaningful insights based on review outcomes.
To be successful in this role, you will require strong operational knowledge and experience in claims and/or complaints. Experience in project management, data analysis, or dispute resolution would be desirable. You will need to pay high attention to detail, complete tasks with thoroughness and accuracy, and have the ability to quickly identify errors or inconsistencies within information.
You will also need to demonstrate proven analytical and critical thinking capability to interpret a range of data, identify patterns, trends, and links that inform judgments and solutions. You will display objectivity and independence in your work and sound ethical and professional conduct/judgment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
