Luggage Porter

Job Summary:

As a Luggage Porter, you will provide exceptional customer service to guests, focusing on laundry and luggage handling. Your role involves interacting with guests, contributing to their first impressions of our services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide consistent and high-quality support for laundry needs, including washing cycles, folding, and storage.
  • Offer attentive and courteous service to guests in the lobby area.
  • Ensure prompt and efficient service to individual customers and groups.
  • Keep the Concierge Supervisor informed about guest feedback and other departmental updates.
  • Deliver messages and faxes regularly throughout the day.
  • Assist with room moves and luggage deliveries while maintaining standard operating procedures.
  • Maintain public areas and equipment in pristine condition.
  • Communicate with Security regarding unattended luggage.
  • Greet all guests warmly in public areas and rooms.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Positive attitude and effective communication skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and under pressure.
  • Capacity to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to responding to guest requests and delivering high levels of service.
  • Excellent grooming standards.
