Professional OpportunityJob Description:

A General Practitioner is required to provide quality healthcare services to the community. The successful candidate will demonstrate a knowledge of and compliance with relevant legislation and common law obligations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Discharge duty of care in the course of practice including meeting practice standards and accountability.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of policies and procedural guidelines that have legal implications.
  • Identify and respond to unsafe practice and implement interventions to prevent contravention of law.
  • Patient-focused approach in service provision with genuine empathy and interest in patients' needs.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills across all ages and social groups.

Requirements:

  • General Registration or Specialist Registration with AHPRA.
  • 2 years of experience as a GP preferred.
