Job Details

We are seeking a part-time Cleaner in Charge to join our team. The role involves overseeing cleaning operations, supervising staff, and ensuring the school premises are maintained to high standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Organize and supervise cleaning staff to ensure efficient and effective delivery of cleaning services.
  • Liaise with management on cleaning matters, including recording and responding to issues and concerns.
  • Provide on-the-job induction training for new cleaning staff, maintain time records, and arrange relief staff as needed.
  • Undertake cleaning of allocated internal and external areas, including emptying rubbish containers into the waste disposal system.
Requirements
  • Valid Working With Children Check.
  • Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department's Screening Unit before commencing work.
  • Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident, or valid visa with relevant work rights for the term of the appointment.
