Materials Coordinator Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Materials Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing for deliveries, monitoring external supplier arrangements, and supporting and monitoring production.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is highly organized, has excellent communication skills, and is able to work well under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare for deliveries and transport
  • Monitor external supplier arrangements
  • Support and monitor production
  • Expedite deliveries
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in logistics operations
  • Proven organisational skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Computer literacy with Microsoft Office (including Outlook, Word and Excel)
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Previous experience within fabrication industry is preferred but not essential
