About the Role

This is a casual opportunity to work as a Disability Support Worker with Healthcare Australia, a leading provider of staffing services to the healthcare sector.

The role involves working in a variety of settings, including disability residential environments and community-based programs, providing support to individuals with physical and intellectual disabilities.

As a Disability Support Worker, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing individualized support to clients with physical and intellectual disabilities
  • Assisting with daily living activities, such as personal care and meal preparation
  • Encouraging clients to participate in community activities and engage in meaningful experiences
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement client-centered care plans

Requirements

  • Minimum of 6 months relevant experience in disability support
  • Valid police check and NDIS Workers Screening Clearance
  • Current First Aid and CPR certificate
  • Unrestricted Australian driver's license and comprehensively insured vehicle
