Backend Engineer Opportunity

 

We are looking for an experienced Backend Developer to join our team. As a key member of our Admin Experience Group, you will be responsible for designing scalable and maintainable backend services that meet the needs of large-scale enterprises.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand admin needs and design solutions that deliver great user experiences. You will also mentor and lead junior engineers by example, guide the architecture of high-volume enterprise-ready backend services, and stay current with industry trends and best practices.

To be successful in this role, you should have experience in architecting scalable and maintainable backend services, as well as excellent communication and collaboration skills. Bonus points if you have familiarity with Protocol Buffers and AWS services such as DynamoDB, SNS, and SQS.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand admin needs and design scalable solutions
  • Mentor and lead junior engineers by example
  • Deliver great user experiences to administrators in large-scale enterprises
  • Lead continuous improvements within the team
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues; participate in on-call rotations supporting critical services
  • Guide the architecture of high-volume enterprise-ready backend services

Requirements

  • Experience in architecting scalable and maintainable backend services
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Familiarity with Protocol Buffers and AWS services such as DynamoDB, SNS, and SQS (bonus)
