Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Systems Architect to join our team in Australia. The successful candidate will be accountable for managing complex activities and tasks related to requirements development, system definition, design, and development, integration, verification, and validation.

The role will involve supporting planning, organization, integration, and delivery of complex systems engineering services and products. You may be required to work across multiple projects, each with its unique challenges and opportunities.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating with project managers, product owners, business analysts, and senior customers to design integrated ICT solutions that support organizational outcomes within the constraints of a technology roadmap.
  • Providing technical expertise to enable the configuration of system components and equipment for systems testing.
  • Working with technical teams to develop and agree implementation plans and reports on progress.
  • Supporting the analysis of complex systems and applying engineering expertise to identify and recommend courses of action.
  • Resolving issues and problems that arise during the course of capability development projects.
  • Assisting in the continuous improvement process by developing and enhancing procedures and working cohesively and flexibly with the broader project team, key business partners, and stakeholder groups.
  • Configuring tools and/or creating scripts to automate the provisioning, testing, and deployment of new and changed infrastructure.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A strong understanding of systems engineering principles and skills.
  • The ability to work within an integrated team of technical and non-technical personnel.
  • Flexibility to work across multiple projects and priorities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

This position requires Australian citizenship and a Top Secret Personnel Vetting (TSPV) security clearance. Successful candidates will also be required to undergo an organizational suitability assessment.
