Wind Energy Executive Leader

Vestas, the world's leading wind turbine producer, is seeking an experienced Wind Energy Executive Leader to spearhead our regional service strategy in Australia and New Zealand.
This exciting role offers a unique opportunity to drive business growth, improve operational efficiency, and enhance customer satisfaction while working with a dynamic team of professionals who are passionate about sustainability and innovation.
As Senior Director of Service AU/ANZ, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to deliver exceptional service quality, safety, and reliability across our vast network of wind farms, customer service departments, and planning teams.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in leadership, project management, and stakeholder engagement, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A proven track record of driving business results, improving processes, and building high-performing teams is essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities:- Serve as a strategic leader and develop effective regional service strategies to drive business growth, improve operational efficiency, and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Lead cross-functional teams comprising of operations, maintenance, engineering, and commercial functions to ensure seamless execution of service delivery.
- Collaborate with stakeholders at all levels to identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements that drive business outcomes.
- Develop and manage budgets for regional service operations, ensuring cost-effective delivery of services while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with service delivery, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and Vestas' policies.
- Leadership experience in a similar industry or field, preferably with a focus on renewable energy or infrastructure projects.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders, including employees, customers, and external partners.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field, with a Master's degree preferred but not essential.
- At least 15 years of progressive leadership experience in a large organization, with a proven track record of driving business results and improving processes.
- Competitive salary ranging from $200,000 to $250,000 AUD per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
