About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Heavy Vehicle Diesel Fitter to join our team. As a Heavy Vehicle Diesel Fitter, you will be responsible for ensuring the mobile plant runs safely, productively and efficiently.



Key Responsibilities
  1. Perform quality service and preventative maintenance to the fleet.
  2. Carry out breakdown support to our operation.


Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. Trade qualifications as a Heavy Diesel Mechanic.
  2. At least 2-5 years of post-trade experience working in heavy machinery within a mining environment.
  3. Experience on underground hardrock equipment such as trucks, boggers, drills and jumbos.
  4. A high standard of work quality.

Our Operation

Tritton Copper Operations is a long-life copper operation located near the towns of Nyngan and Cobar in central New South Wales.

The operation commenced production in 2005 and is 100% owned and operated by Aeris Resources.

Tritton comprises an underground mining complex feeding a 1.8 million tonne per annum conventional processing plant.

Copper concentrate produced at the operation is railed to the Port of Newcastle for export to customers internationally.

The current mine plan for Tritton extends to FY2030.
