About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Consultant to join our team in Australia. As a key member of our Tax Consulting team, you will be responsible for providing outstanding tax compliance and advisory services to our international corporate clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with advisory engagements including tax due diligence, structuring, tax consolidation, and thin capitalisation.
  • Undertake tax research, analysing and interpreting tax legislation.
  • Drafting advice for clients in relation to various Australian taxation issues.
  • Corporate income tax returns and associated compliance obligations, including International Dealings Schedules.
  • Specialised compliance obligations, including Country-by-Country Reporting.
  • Communication with Clients and regulatory bodies.

About You

  • A minimum of 2-4 years' experience in a tax role with an Australian accounting firm is preferred.
  • Candidates with generalist corporate tax experience or experience in a specialist role (e.g. transfer pricing) are encouraged to apply.
  • Completed a Bachelor of Commerce or Bachelor of Law degree (or equivalent).
  • Completion of the Chartered Accountants Program (or CPA) is preferred.
  • Good working experience with Excel, Word, Outlook.
  • Ability to work with others.
  • Confidence in dealing with clients and technical issues.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Willingness to learn.
