About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Wills and Estates Legal Assistant to join our team at Gatehouse Legal Recruitment. As a key member of our team, you will provide administrative support to our lawyers and contribute to the delivery of exceptional legal services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to our lawyers, including preparing documents, managing files, and coordinating with clients.
  • Assist with the preparation of legal documents, including wills, powers of attorney, and other estate planning documents.
  • Conduct research and provide information to our lawyers on various legal topics, including wills and estates.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of relevant laws and regulations, including the Succession Act and the Wills, Probate and Administration Act.
  • Collaborate with our lawyers to identify and implement process improvements, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of legal services.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience as a Wills and Estates Legal Assistant.
  • Exceptional organisational and administrative abilities.
  • Law students with at least 2 years remaining may be considered. Please note this is a full-time role.
