NDIS Community Coordinator

Join our team as an NDIS Community Coordinator - RN or EN and play a vital role in managing and growing the NDIS funded disabilities services across the region. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality, culturally sensitive, and respectful services to our participants.
About the RoleThe NDIS Community Coordinator is responsible for managing and growing the NDIS funded disabilities services across the region. This includes developing a strategic program growth plan, providing leadership and management to the programs team members, and ensuring the delivery of evidence-based practices to our participants.
Key Responsibilities- Develop a strategic program growth plan to ensure engagement needs across the Sunrise footprint are met
- Provide leadership and management to the programs team members
- Ensure the delivery of evidence-based practices to our participants
- Manage and grow the NDIS funded disabilities services across the region
- Provide culturally sensitive and respectful leadership in the day-to-day management of the programs team members
- Bachelor of Nursing or studying toward with a minimum of Enrolled Nurse
- Qualifications in Mental Health Nursing (or comparable experience)
- Experience in remote Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health care delivery
- Current Driver's license
- Current National Criminal History Check
- Current OCHRE clearance
- Acceptable vaccination status to work with vulnerable people in the NT
- Right to work in Australia
- AHPRA registration with no restrictions

- 15 days Personal leave
- 18% leave loading
- Mon to Fri work 8-430pm (37.5 hrs pw)
