Job Title: National Security Consultant

This exciting opportunity is for a seasoned professional to join our team as a national security consultant. As a trusted advisor, you will engage with senior stakeholders and provide strategic insights to help customers unlock value from their existing investments.

  • Strategic Advisory: Lead executive conversations on security, compliance, and risk management.
  • Customer Growth: Collaborate with account managers to identify and qualify security opportunities, assess customer readiness, and define strategies for adopting security solutions.
  • Value Realisation: Help customers maximise return on investment (ROI) and define business-aligned security roadmaps.
  • Partner Ecosystem: Strengthen relationships with key vendors to drive co-sell opportunities and joint campaigns.
  • Engagement: Lead workshops, demos, and discovery sessions to uncover pain points and business challenges.
  • Enablement & Leadership: Educate sales teams, align plans with practice capacity, and lead the company's security go-to-market strategy.
  • Thought Leadership: Represent the company at industry events and showcase security expertise in the market.
  • Strategy: Partner with regional sales managers to align sales plans with the strategic direction of the business division.

We welcome applications from Sydney or Melbourne for this role. To succeed, you will bring a proven background in B2B solution sales within the private sector, with significant experience engaging mid-market to enterprise customers.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum 8 years' experience in the IT industry, with at least 8 years in sales, consultancy, or solution sales roles.
  • Demonstrated success selling security solutions and complex offerings that deliver tangible business outcomes.
  • Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to work to strict timeframes, deadlines, and budgets in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to leverage vendor partnerships to shape solutions and deliver compelling presentations.
  • Deep understanding of the IT solution sales and project delivery lifecycle.
  • Awareness of both client business and technical requirements and their IT environment.
  • Infrastructure certifications (highly regarded).
