Orthopaedic Surgical Assistant

About the Position: As a Scrub Scout, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional healthcare services in orthopaedics. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where your skills and expertise will contribute to quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain the operating room and equipment for surgical procedures.
- Assist surgeons during operations by providing necessary instruments and supplies.
- Ensure adherence to infection control protocols and maintain a sterile environment.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Scrub Scout in orthopaedics with the ability to perform joint surgery.
- Minimum 2 years experience.
- Current AHPRA registration.
- Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and to work independently of others.
- Post graduate perioperative certificate desirable.
- Full working rights in Australia.
