About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Specialist Nurse to join our team at Albury Wodonga Health. As a Clinical Nurse Consultant - Melanoma, you will play a critical role in optimising outcomes for melanoma patients through advanced clinical service, leadership, research, and education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert clinical advice and support to patients and healthcare professionals
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualised care plans
- Educate patients and healthcare professionals on melanoma management and treatment options
- Lead quality improvement activities to enhance patient care and outcomes
- Utilise research to inform clinical practice and improve patient outcomes
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years full-time equivalent RN experience in Medical Oncology, Melanoma, or Surgical Oncology
- Strong clinical expertise and leadership skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
