About the Position

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled communications specialist to join our Digital, Marketing and Communications department.

We're looking for a talented professional who will drive positive media outcomes across Community Cricket, Big Bash and International Cricket.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with senior stakeholders to support and execute PR plans across international cricket.
  • Support on PR planning and execution for Big Bash including building a plan to connect PR initiatives across W/BBL, leveraging key milestones such as season launches.
  • Assist in the management of agency relationships where relevant to deliver key PR campaigns that drive interest and awareness of cricket.
  • Support and execute PR plans for commercial, government and broadcast in relation to international, Big Bash and community cricket where required.
  • Lead and execute PR plans for community cricket and inclusion teams programs including Play Cricket Month, women and girls' initiatives and multicultural programs.

Requirements

  • 5 years' experience in a communications and/or PR role.
  • Relevant tertiary qualification In journalism, communications, or marketing.
  • A strong commercial mindset that can look around corners.
  • Experience with delivering large-scale promotional plans and gaining positive coverage for events.
  • Excellent collaboration skills.
  • Strong written communication skills.
  • Proven experience balancing and prioritising multiple projects and stakeholders while working to time-sensitive deadlines.
