Job Opportunity

We are seeking a team member to join our deli. If you have a passion for food and customer service, and are available during the daytime, we would love to hear from you.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent service to customers, fulfilling their requests for fresh meat, poultry and fish; cold meats and smallgoods; salads and antipasto; ready to eat meals and pastries.
  • Keep displays fresh, beautiful and full, make product recommendations and offer tasters.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • A friendly attitude and good communication skills, to provide exceptional customer service.
  • To be comfortable handling meat and seafood (both cooked and uncooked).
  • A love of working with people (both colleagues and customers).
  • Energy, initiative and willingness to take direction.
  • The ability to follow procedures and regulations, particularly regarding food handling and workplace health and safety.
  • Ongoing daytime availability on at least 3-4 days per week and every second weekend.
  • Physical fitness for lifting and standing.
