Job DescriptionWe are looking for enthusiastic and friendly individuals who share our passion for delivering outstanding customer service. As a Store Assistant - Customer Service Expert, your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing exceptional customer service on the tills and shop floor, responding to queries and championing Co-op products and Membership.
- Working collaboratively with store colleagues to solve problems for customers and members, making everyone's day better.
- Maintaining store safety and legality, keeping shelves stocked, and ensuring prices, dates, and temperatures are accurate.
- Supporting new product and service introductions, making changes feel natural, and sharing experiences with colleagues.
- Contributing to local community activities, getting involved in various events and initiatives.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A genuine care for customer needs and a positive attitude towards change and problem-solving.
- Excellent people skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
- The flexibility to work a range of different shifts, including early mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends.
