About this Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading provider of diagnostic pathology services in Australia, committed to excellence in patient care and quality testing. As a Pathology Specimen Collector, you will have the chance to work independently, sometimes in solo collection centres, and collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect biological specimens (blood, urine, etc.) from patients in a safe and professional manner.
- Ensure all samples are labelled and processed according to established protocols.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the collection area.
Requirements:
We are looking for individuals with customer service experience who can make patient care their number one priority. Other desirable skills and attributes include previous experience working in the health, aged care or community sectors, or a Certificate III in Pathology Specimen Collection, confident time management and problem-solving skills, and a willingness to learn new things and enjoy variety within the role. Successful candidates will also embark on a comprehensive paid training course during their first twelve months of employment.
