About the RoleWe are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Market Manager to join our team on the Gold Coast. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of our weekly markets, including setup, management, and breakdown.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Managing a team of market staff to deliver exceptional customer experiences
- Coordinating with over 100 stallholders to ensure a seamless market experience
- Overseeing the setup and breakdown of market infrastructure, including power, seating, and presentation
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and protocols
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in customer service, event management, or a related field, with excellent communication and organizational skills. You will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and be able to think on your feet to resolve any issues that may arise.
Requirements- Minimum 3 years' experience in a customer-facing role or event management
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Availability to work on Sundays and occasional special events
