Salvos Stores is seeking a dynamic and strategic leader to join our People Leadership Team as the Volunteer Strategy & Development Manager. This pivotal role is dedicated to the growth, development, and retention of our volunteer workforce, ensuring they are central to our mission and commercial success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive Volunteer Strategy to drive growth and an exceptional volunteer experience.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to align volunteering initiatives with our overall strategy and goals.
- Design and deliver volunteer attraction, development, recognition, and retention initiatives to foster a culture of inclusivity and volunteer engagement.
- Research and develop volunteer workforce plans to meet current and future needs, ensuring a diverse and skilled volunteer base.
- Enhance volunteer communications and develop new partnerships to expand our volunteer base and promote our mission.
- Contribute to the design and delivery of leadership development programs for Salvos Stores, focusing on volunteer leadership and management.
