Position Summary

As an Underground Electrician and Maintenance Expert, you will be responsible for providing quality and timely preventative electrical maintenance and repairs of the underground mining infrastructure.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about electrical maintenance and repair, and has the skills and qualifications to match.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on all electrical equipment and systems.
  • Diagnose and repair faults in electrical circuits and systems.
  • Implement safety procedures and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports related to electrical maintenance and repairs.
  • Work effectively with other departments and teams to achieve common goals and objectives.

Requirements:

  • Valid WA manual driver's licence
  • West Australian recognised electrical trade qualification
  • Previous underground mining experience (desired)
  • High voltage switching certification (desired)
  • Working at heights and EWP tickets
  • Crane, dogging and/or forklift ticket also (desired)
