Technical Analyst for Digital Preservation

This is a challenging opportunity for an experienced Digital Preservation Technical Analyst to join our team.
As a key member of the Preservica Implementation Group, you will provide technical expertise and advice on digital preservation strategies for legacy and contemporary digital collections. The role involves collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to develop procedures and workflows for ongoing stewardship of digital heritage collections.
">- We are seeking an individual with strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for digital preservation.
- Utilizing hardware and software systems to analyze and identify data types, file formats, and their dependencies is a key responsibility of this role.
- Developing and implementing ingest and migration workflows, including writing and executing scripts in accordance with application development standards is also required.
- Preparing reports documenting digital preservation decisions and contributing to improving business rules, procedures, and policies for acquiring, managing, and preserving digital collections are additional responsibilities.
