Teacher of STEM Subjects

We are seeking a qualified and experienced teacher to join our team as a full-time temporary (1 year) Science teacher. The ideal candidate will have experience teaching Year 11/Stage 6 Science and possess knowledge of the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme (MYP).
The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching up to 44 x 50-minute periods over a two-week cycle, equivalent to a standard teaching load. A willingness to undertake professional learning to teach the IB MYP is expected.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Science subjects to students at the Year 11 level;
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse student needs;
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback;
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance and progress.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Essential:
- Degree in Education or related field;
- Proven teaching experience in Science, particularly at the Year 11 level;
- Knowledge of the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme (MYP);
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and staff.
