Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, ensuring the physical and psychological needs of patients are met.

The role involves undertaking direct patient care, including education, wound management, and drug administration as per Practice Protocol. Effective communication with doctors, patient services, physics, and radiation therapy staff is essential, along with providing feedback as relevant.

The ideal candidate will have a current AHPRA registration as a Nurse or eligibility for registration, with a minimum 2 years post-graduate experience. Oncology background/knowledge of Radiation therapy and Medical oncology is preferred, but training will be provided in radiation oncology nursing.

A strong commitment to quality improvement and best practice principles, including NSQHS, is essential. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, empathy for patients and carers, analytical and problem-solving skills, and a commitment to quality patient care and continuing Professional Development are also required.
