Job Overview

Piacentini & Son is a leading earthmoving and mining contractor that specialises in bulk earthworks, supply of mobile mining and earthmoving equipment, road haulage, and mining rehabilitation services. We have over 1000 employees across Australia with a head office in Bunbury, Western Australia.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Receiving and dispatching parts.
  • Safe forklift operation and manual handling practices.
  • Loading and unloading trucks and vehicles.
  • Maintaining store cleanliness.
  • Conducting stock-takes and audits as required.
  • Working collaboratively with other team members within the Stores and Maintenance Departments.

This role requires strong interpersonal and communication skills as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role and possess relevant certifications such as a High Risk Work Licence: LF.

About You:
  • A minimum of two years experience in a similar role.
  • Holding a valid High Risk Work Licence: LF is essential.
  • Demonstrated experience with Excel, SAP & Pronto is highly regarded.
  • Recognised Load Restraint Training is an advantage.
  • Displaying a clear commitment and focus on the health safety and wellbeing of all employees is crucial.
  • Holding a valid Australian Drivers Licence is mandatory.
  • A willingness to undergo a Pre-Employment Medical and Drug / Alcohol Screen is necessary.
